Do I need to use Baking Soda? - baking powder burning mouth syndrom

Do I have baking soda in my recipes, if necessary, or can I use baking soda. Baking soda to a bad taste in my mouth all day to leave. and burns my heart. Please reply

Yes, you can substitute baking powder, baking soda.

In general, you may take 3 times the amount of baking powder and baking. So if the recipe calls for 1 tablespoon of baking powder, use 3 teaspoons of baking powder instead. Hope this helps.
